Registration Terms & Conditions


We strongly advise that you print this page and keep a copy for your records.

Once you have completed your registration, please read your Order Confirmation email to make sure that your registration details are correct. Note: pre-registration is required, no on-site registrations will be accepted.

Age Limit

Due to safety concerns, no one under the age of 18 (including infants in strollers) will be permitted on the premise at any time during Black Hat Executive Summit 2015.


If you require special assistance, auxiliary aids, interpreters or other reasonable accommodations, email Jessica Horst or call 415.947.6399 at least six weeks prior to the event date.


Attendees are not permitted to record any of the sessions at Black Hat. Anyone caught recording, whether it be audio or video, may be asked to leave.


All individuals at the Black Hat Executive Summit must have a badge and badge holder visible on their person at all times. Both the badge and badge holder are required for entry at Black Hat and both will incur a replacement fee if a duplicate of either is requested. Lost, misplaced, stolen, or forgotten badges will incur a replacement fee equal to the original purchase amount of your pass.

Black Hat believes our community should be open for everyone. As such, we are committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment. By participating you agree to abide by the Code of Conduct.


If you require a Letter of Invitation in order to obtain a visa to attend this event, please email blackhatregistration@ubm.com. Please note that Letters of Invitation are only issued in the name of the registrant and will be emailed as a PDF file. The original copy will be sent via US First Class mail per request. Please note that the postal service we are providing does not include a tracking number. If you require the original letter more promptly, please provide an international Federal Express account number so that we may courier the letter to you. In order to receive a Letter of Invitation, your registration must be paid in full.


All fully paid Delegates will receive breakfast, lunch, coffee, and dinner on Wednesday, December 9. Thursday, December 10 includes breakfast, lunch, and coffee. Tuesday, December 8 meals will depend on arrival time and activity choice but will include food at the welcome reception. We do our best to fulfill special meal needs and requests; however we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet them. If you have dietary restrictions, please outline them in detail in the open text space provided during registration.

Non-Registered GUESTS

All individuals must have a badge visible on their person at all times. Spouses, friends, peers, etc. are not granted access to the show floor without a badge. If you wish for them to accompany you to any of the conference events, you must register and pay the associated fees.


Outstanding balances are due at the start of the conference. Admission to the Black Hat Executive Summit will not be allowed and registration credentials will not be issued until all fees have been paid in full. Black Hat reserves the right to cancel your registration if we do not receive payment by October 23, 2015. All pricing is listed in USD.

Wire Transfers: If you are paying by wire transfer, please note that payment in full needs to reach Black Hat no later than October 23, 2015 or your registration may be canceled and the seat given to a paid registrant. You will be notified in the event of this happening. Please forward a copy of the SWIFT receipt and Wire Transfer form to lisa.m.miller@ubm.com.

Checks: If you are paying by check, please note that payment in full needs to reach Black Hat no later than October 23, 2015. If your check is returned as not processable, you will incur a $50 check handling fee and must provide payment in the form of a certified check or US money order. You will be notified in the event of this happening. Personal checks will not be accepted on-site.

Credit Cards: We accept MasterCard, Visa, and American Express. All credit cards are processed at the time of your registration.

Purchase Orders: Purchase orders and Government Terms are not accepted for this event.

All payments are due by October 23, 2015 or your registration will be canceled.

Black Hat reserves the right to make changes in the program and speakers, or to cancel programs if enrollment criteria are not met, or when conditions beyond its control prevail. All conference sessions are filled on a first-come, first-seated basis. Arrive early to ensure a seat!


Promo codes are only applicable to registrations that are completed online and applied at the time of registration. Only one promo code may be applied to an individual registration. Promo codes may not be combined and may not be applied retroactively.


In order to receive a refund, all refund requests must be submitted by October 23, 2015 and accompanied by a completed Black Hat Registration Update Form and a W-8BEN for international bank wires.

Credit Cards: Refunds for credit card payments will only be to the original card charged.

Checks: Payments made via check will be refunded via a US-drawn check. Check refunds will be issued net 45 from the date of receipt of a completed Black Hat Registration Update Form and a completed W9.

Wires: Payments made via bank wire will be refunded via bank wire. Wire refunds will be issued net 45 from the date of receipt of a completed Black Hat Registration Update Form and a completed W-8BEN for international bank wires or W9 for US corporate check refunds.


Substitutions, including those made on-site, are allowed with the written permission of the original registrant. The new applicant must meet all event qualifications and be approved by the Black Hat team. You may submit your request via email or fax by completing the Black Hat Registration Update Form. A substitution is a straight transfer of registration credentials.
