Author of "Skin of Culture and Connected Intelligence," Kerckove holds a PhD in French literature from the University of Toronto, Canada and a PhD in sociology from the University of Tours, France. He was associated with the Centre for Culture and Technology and worked as director of the McLuhan Program in Culture and Technology until 2008. Kerckove is currently a professor in the department of French at the University of Toronto. At IT Expo Forum / Black Hat Regional Summit, he will approach the audience with a smart guide which he calls "digital condition" discussion where the three sources of the economy (market, technology, and people) are totally redefined.
