Prior to Cyxtera, Day was Chief Information Security Officer for Invincea, a next-generation endpoint security and anti-malware software company acquired by Sophos, Ltd in 2017. Before Invincea, Day was CTO for Packet Forensics and its subsidiaries that provide advanced cyber security products and large-scale threat and commercial intelligence services for government and the private sector. Prior to Packet Forensics, Day was Chief Security Architect for Terremark, where he started the information security practice, including a professional services group and a managed security services operations center. After Terremark was acquired by Verizon in 2011 he was responsible for leading the Advanced Threat Intelligence and Mitigation Services team in the commercial and government sectors as well as the Verizon Terremark classified program delivery teams. He also led an advanced information security research and development team. In March 2013, Day was appointed to the Defense Science Board, which provides guidance to the Secretary of Defense and other Department of Defense leaders on technical and strategic matters impacting national security. The White House National Security Council invited Day to participate as Control Staff for the 2012 National Level Exercise that focused heavily on a major cyber security crisis. He also served on the President's National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee's (NSTAC) Secure Government Communications Subcommittee. Day regularly speaks and lectures on cybersecurity topics and is a contributing author for a number of books and articles. He authored and co-authored four patents in cybersecurity and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. Christopher graduated from the University of Miami with a BS Magna Cum Laude in Physics and Mathematics and is member of Phi Beta Kappa.
