We strongly advise that you print this page and keep a copy for your records. All participants must complete an official Black Hat Online Trainings Registration Form, which can be found here: blackhat.com/online-trainings/.

Once you have completed your registration, you will receive an Order Confirmation email. Please read your Order Confirmation email to make sure that all details are correct. If you find any errors or have any questions prior to your Training, please contact our Registration team at bhonlinetrainings@ubm.com.

AUDIO & VIDEO RECORDINGS

Attendees are not permitted to record any portion of the Black Hat Online Trainings. Anyone caught recording, whether it be audio or video, will barred from the Training and no refund will be issued. Please note: The Black Hat Online Trainings are a live streamed event and will not be recorded for subsequent access. Attendees are responsible for attending the Online Training at the specified dates/times. Black Hat will not provide subsequent access to the Online Training.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You may cancel your Training any time up until 5 business days prior to the start of your course or until course materials have been shipped to you, if notification is submitted in writing via a completed Black Hat Registration Update Form. Once course materials have shipped, full payment is non-refundable. Any cancellations made within 5 business days or less are non-refundable and full payment will be forfeited.

Failure to attend the Training without cancellation (as detailed above) prior to the start of the course will be considered a "No Show" and will result in forfeiture of fees paid in full.

CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS

Black Hat provides Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits for those who are certified through ISC2:

  • 16 CPE credits for two-day Trainings

You can request CPE credits by entering your certificate number on the online registration form. Special service for CISSPs and SSCPs: Black Hat will automatically forward your earned CPE credits to ISC2 upon completion of your Training, thirty days after the course has ended. Please allow four to six weeks for ISC2 to post your hours.

CPE is a globally recognized standard unit of measure for continuing education for security professionals. Please see ISC2 for more information regarding the certification process. Please note Black Hat does not maintain records of earned CPE credits. It is the responsibility of the student to maintain his or her own records.

LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR ONLINE TRAININGS

Payment of tuition provides personal, exclusive, non-transferable license to attend one Online Training course. Transferring or sharing this license with anyone else is a violation of the licensing agreement and is subject to legal action.

PAYMENT

Full payment is required prior to attendance. Access is granted to online courses and materials only once payment is received. Outstanding balances are due no later than 5 business days before the start of your Training. You cannot participate in any Training unless all fees have been paid in full. Black Hat reserves the right to cancel your registration if we do not receive payment at least 5 business days prior to the beginning of your course. All pricing is listed in USD.

Wire Transfers: If you are paying by wire transfer, please note that payment in full needs to reach Black Hat no later than 5 business days before the start of your Training or your registration will be canceled. You will be notified in the event this happens. Please forward a copy of the SWIFT receipt and Wire Transfer form to bhonlinetrainings@ubm.com.

Checks: If you are paying by check, please note that payment in full needs to reach Black Hat at least 5 business days prior to the start of your course. If your check is returned as not processable, you will be notified.

PROGRAM CHANGES

Black Hat reserves the right to make changes in the Training courses or to cancel courses if enrollment criteria are not met, or when conditions beyond its control prevail. Paid registrants for any cancelled course will receive a full refund of fees paid.

REFUNDS

In order to receive a refund, all refund requests must be submitted 5 business days prior to the start of the course and accompanied by a completed Black Hat Registration Update Form and a W-8BEN for international bank wires. However, once course materials have been shipped, no refunds will be issued.

Credit Cards: Refunds for credit card payments will only be to the original card charged.

Checks: Payments made via check will be refunded via a US-drawn check. Check refunds will be issued net 45 from the date of receipt of a completed Black Hat Registration Update Form and a completed W9.

Wires: Payments made via bank wire will be refunded via bank wire. Wire refunds will be issued net 45 from the date of receipt of a completed Black Hat Registration Update Form and a completed W-8BEN for international bank wires or W9 for US corporate check refunds.

SUBSTITUTIONS

Substitutions are allowed with the written permission of the original registrant. You may submit your request via email or fax by completing the Black Hat Registration Update Form. A substitution is a straight transfer of registration credentials.

  • Substitutions will not be allowed once course materials have been shipped.

TAX INVOICES

Tax invoices are auto-generated from the registration system once your registration is completed and paid in full.

Tax invoices will be sent via email to the registrant’s primary and secondary (if provided) email address.

TRAINING CERTIFICATES OF COMPLETION

Attendees will receive a Training Certificate of Completion at the conclusion of the Training. Please note: Black Hat will send you the certificate via email, not US First Class Mail or Federal Express. Any corrections or changes to certificates must be submitted to onlinetrainings@blackhat.com.

TRAINING CLASS CANCELLATIONS BY BLACK HAT

In the event that a Training is canceled due to low enrollment, Trainer cancellation, or other reasons beyond our control, we will contact you immediately.

If Black Hat is forced to cancel a Training class, you have the following options:

  1. Choose a different Black Hat Online Training. You should complete the form that was sent to you via email and return it as directed on the form. *Please note that if the newly selected course is more expensive, you must pay the difference. If the newly selected course is less expensive, you will be given a refund for the difference in the original payment instrument.
  2. Receive a full refund for the canceled class. You will not be assessed an administrative fee.
