Emil is an active advocate in the cybersecurity community. He founded and leads Edgis, a local cybersecurity community group. He also leads The Honeynet Project, Singapore Chapter, and is the organiser of 'Infosec in City, Singapore'. Emil has spoken at various international cybersecurity conferences.
