India is currently a legislative analyst at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, where she fights for consumer privacy and robust surveillance oversight using skills she developed during her time in Washington. India spent over 10 years working as a legislative staffer to three members of Congress from California. Her work there primarily focused on the appropriations process, specifically analyzing and funding programs in the Departments of Homeland Security, Justice, and Veterans Affairs.
