Check-In Information

Black Hat USA will take place at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Check in at the Registration Counters on Level 1 of the Mandalay Bay Convention Center (using the email address you registered with). If you have any questions about your registration, please email our Registration Team at blackhatregistration@informa.com

Important Note: Please care for your badge. A non-refundable replacement fee will apply to all lost, misplaced, stolen, forgotten and duplicate badge or badge holder requests. If your badge was complimentary, the fee will be the current, on-site rate. Both the badge and badge holder are required for entry at Black Hat and both will incur a replacement fee if a duplicate of either is requested.


Trainings Information

  • Class Requirements
    Please be sure to check the "Student Requirements" and "What Students Should Bring" sections for your specific Training.
  • Laptops and Power Supply
    Please bring your own laptop with you to class! Black Hat does not have extra laptops or power cords to lend out. Make sure that your power supply can accept 120V.
  • Lunch
    Lunch during Trainings will be served in Bayside AB on Level 1. You DO NOT need lunch tickets during Trainings days; however, you MUST have your Black Hat badge in order to enter the lunchroom.

NEW FOR 2019:

  • Digital Training Certificates of Completion
    Black Hat now issues all Training Certificates of Completion in digital format. Digital credentials — a traditional looking certificate, and more modern badge — provide a more sustainable, verifiable and secure pathway for Black Hat Training attendees to share their achievements. Certificates and badges will be sent to the email address associated with the attendee registration. Certificates will not be issued to attendees not physically present at their registered Training course. More information »

Briefings Information

  • Keynote
    Please join us for Dino Dai Zovi's Keynote presentation "Every Security Team is a Software Team Now" on Wednesday, August 7 at 7:00AM in the Mandalay Bay Events Center.
  • Lunch:
    Your Briefings pass grants you access to lunch on both Wednesday, August 7 and Thursday, August 8 in Bayside AB on Level 1. You must have your Briefings badge to enter the lunchroom.
  • Briefings Slides and White Papers
    Briefings presentation materials provided by speakers will be made available at the end of each day on the Black Hat website. Presentations can be downloaded here »
  • Briefings Audio and Video
    Afraid you'll miss a session? The Source of Knowledge will be on-site Wednesday, August 7 and Thursday, August 8 to sell video recordings of all Briefings sessions. These recordings may be purchased on-site at a substantial discount. The Source of Knowledge has three locations: Islander Registration Desk, North Hall, Breakers Registration Desk, Level 2 and Jasmin Registration Desk, Level 3.

Business Hall Information
The Business Hall (Oceanside and Shoreline Ballrooms) will feature more than 300 companies demonstrating the latest products, solutions and technologies. Attend deep-dive sessions in the Business Hall and network with peers in Networking Lounges.

Business Hall Features & Activities

The Business Hall features open-source tool demonstrations at Arsenal, the hottest security startups at Innovation City, recruiting companies and institutions in the Career Zone, a number of Networking Lounges for relaxing and enjoying refreshments and more.

Arsenal
Black Hat Arsenal will feature more than 90 open-source tool demos over the course of two days, located in the Business Hall (Oceanside). Researchers will showcase their work while answering questions in a dynamic, interactive setting. Please join us for the Arsenal "Intro to Open-Source Meet-Up" on Wednesday, August 7 or Thursday, August 8 from 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM to meet-up with the Arsenal Review Board and other tool authors. This casual gathering allows you to discuss your current projects, receive feedback from the ToolsWatch team, connect with other open source contributors, and learn about the Arsenal program and how to become a presenter!
