Collect Your Event Badge

Check in on Level 1 of the ExCeL London at Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway, London E16 1XL Use the East Entrance or Prince Regent DLR Entrance.

Collect your badge during the following dates and times:

  • Monday, December 3: 07:30 - 14:00
  • Tuesday, December 4: 08:30 - 16:00
  • Wednesday, December 5: 07:30 - 18:30
  • Thursday, December 6: 08:30 - 16:00

Class Requirements: Please be sure to check the "Student Requirements" and "What Students Should Bring" sections for your specific Training. Find your Training here:

Laptops and Power Supply: Please bring your own laptop and power supply cord with you to class! Black Hat does not have extra laptops or cables to lend out. Please note: Black Hat does not supply power adapters for international power supply cords. Please plan accordingly.

Lunch: Continental breakfast and lunch will be served during Trainings on Monday, December 3 and Tuesday, December 4 in the ICC Capital Suite Refreshment and Lunch Areas. You DO NOT need lunch tickets during Trainings; however, you MUST have your Black Hat badge in order to enter the lunchroom. *Students taking the 4 Day course will be provided with lunch tickets during registration

Important Note: Classroom temperatures vary. We suggest bringing warm clothing.


Briefings Information

Briefings Schedule: Schedules for each day of Briefings can be accessed at

Lunch: Your Briefings pass grants you access to lunch on both Wednesday, December 5 and Thursday, December 6 in the Business Hall, Capital Hall on Level 0. You must have your Briefings badge to receive lunch.

Briefings Evaluations: Help us make future programs even more compelling and relevant by completing a briefings evaluation for each Briefings session you attend. Evaluations will be sent to you at the end of each conference day.

Briefings Slides and White Papers: Briefings presentation materials provided by speakers will be made available at the end of each day on the Black Hat website. Presentations can be downloaded from beneath each sessions abstract, here: www.blackhat.com/eu-18/briefings/schedule

Briefings Materials & Recordings: Afraid you'll miss any Briefings? The Source of Knowledge will be on-site in the Business Hall on Wednesday, December 5 and Thursday, December 6 to sell video recordings of all Briefings sessions at a substantial discount. Recordings can also be purchased online at www.blackhatbriefingsonline.com

Features and Activities

Keynote: Please join us for Marina Kaljurand's Keynote presentation "Developments and Challenges in Cybersecurity from the Nation-State Perspective" at 09:00 on Wednesday, December 5 in the ICC Auditorium on Level 0.

Arsenal
Black Hat Europe Arsenal will feature over 40 open-source tool demonstrations over the course of two days. Researchers will showcase their latest innovations while answering questions in a dynamic setting.

Business Hall Sessions & Workshops
Business Hall Sessions and Workshops will cover the industry's latest trends, technologies and strategies in 25 and 50 minute formats. Offering everything from career advice to operational best practices, be sure to view the full lineup and sort by track, session type, and time here.

Merchandise Store: Get your Black Hat branded merchandise, t-shirts, hoodies, gifts, and more at the on-site store. Located in the Business Hall, the merchandise store will be open Wednesday, December 5: 10:00 – 18:30 and Thursday, December 6: 10:00 – 16:00. Black Hat merchandise is only sold on-site at Black Hat Events.

Networking Lounge: Unwind, recharge and network in the Accenture Networking Lounge. Enjoy refreshments and conduct business in a relaxed environment on Wednesday, December 5 from 10:30-18:30 and Thursday, December 6 from 10:00-16:00.

Travel

Transportation: There are many ways to get to the ExCeL London, including both the London underground and overground. Use the East Entrance or Prince Regent DLR entrance Foyer Area, where the Registration Desk will be located. Please use the Interactive Map to plan your trip to Black Hat Europe.

Food & Drink: Whether you need a quick bite, or you're looking for to take a client out for dinner, there are many options to choose from close to the conference center. Browse the variety of bars, pubs, restaurants, and cafés in the area here.

Safety
The safety and security of attendees is Black Hat's priority. We work closely with the venue and our contractors to identify risks, assess them and develop security plans for our events in accordance with this priority. Everyone attending Black Hat should be aware that the following are in place:

  • Bag checks upon entry into Briefings rooms
  • Random body searches
  • Canine security and detection
  • Uniformed and covert security guards
  • CCTV is in operation throughout the venue and is monitored and recorded 24 hours a day
  • Attendees are required to wear conference badges at all times
