Leading experts will share their insights on key topics and enable attendees to connect with fellow attendees, speakers, and industry leaders to better understand critical issues and solutions.

Each Micro Summit is a half-day program combining subject matter expertise and networking opportunities. All-day attendance is not required. Micro Summits take place during Briefings. Attendees can easily participate in both programs. No pre-registration is required.

Jeremiah Grossman

Jeremiah Grossman is the CEO of Root Evidence. With over 25 years of contributions that have shaped the industry, he is one of the most iconic figures in cybersecurity. He began as one of Yahoo’s first security officers before founding WhiteHat Security, which grew into the largest professional hacking team. After WhiteHat’s acquisition, he joined SentinelOne as Chief of Security Strategy, helping drive its record-breaking IPO, and later co-founded Bit Discovery, acquired in just three years. Jeremiah pioneered web application security, cyber warranties, and attack surface management, earning recognition from Microsoft, Google, Facebook, and features in outlets like The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and adrenaline-seeker, he now invests through Grossman Ventures and recently opened Toybox, a luxury car club in Boise, Idaho.

This event explores the business view of digital transformation, assessing and providing insights into how cybersecurity can be incorporated and carefully balanced. Experts will detail how organizations will need to approach risk assessment and management with this in mind, mitigating, accepting and transferring risk in some instances to insurance. Alongside this business focus, the ICS summit will explore the cybersecurity implications of connectivity, with a focus on the benefits and challenges of deploying and layering Industrial IoT (IIoT) with OT networks.

Hollie Hennessy

Principal Analyst

Hollie Hennessy is a Principal Analyst, IoT Cybersecurity for Omdia. She provides insight into the fascinating and fast-moving domain of IoT cybersecurity.

Hollie has a range of experience in research. She began her career in the legal sector, writing and researching for expert witness reports on the labor market. She then moved into product testing, with a consumer protection focus. In this role, she was responsible for managing comparative tests of various technology products, as well as regular testing and investigative work into the security of these products.

She has published articles in Which?, one of the UK’s largest subscription magazines, produced by the country’s largest consumer organization; and Computing magazine.

Emma Stewart

Chief Power Grid Scientist

Dr. Emma M. Stewart, is a respected power systems and critical infrastructure security specialist with expertise in electric distribution, renewable energy, modeling, and simulation, as well as operational cybersecurity. She holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and an M.Eng. degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. Emma is currently the Chief Power Grid Scientist at Idaho National Labs and the Director of the Center for Securing the Digital Energy Transition. Emma also served as the Chief Scientist at the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA), where she led NRECA Research and the Co-Op Cyber Program. Her responsibilities included providing electric cooperatives with education, training, information sharing, incident support, technology integration, and R&D services.

Dr. Stewart's employment history also includes positions at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. At Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, she served as the Associate Program Leader for Cyber and Infrastructure Resilience, managing research on prevention and response to high consequence grid events such as wildfire and cyber-attack. At Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, she was the Deputy Group Leader in the Grid Integration Group and played a major role in developing the first micro-synchrophasor network in the US enabling the data to be used to prevent wildfire and equipment failure.

Throughout her career, Dr. Stewart has made significant contributions to the field of security of power systems, receiving patents for innovations in power distribution systems and data analytics, and truly works at the center of the clean energy, energy security and cybersecurity Venn diagram.
