Highlights of Black Hat USA 2020

Thank you to everyone who attended the first ever virtual Black Hat USA event. This year, over 16,000 members of the InfoSec community from around the globe came together for innovative talks, skill-building courses and community building, all in a new virtual platform.

  • Trainings offered a wide variety of virtual courses in 2-day and 4-day formats on Tracks ranging from Defense, PenTesting, Network and much more. Interested in attending future Trainings? These successful Trainings will be offered in the same format at Black Hat Asia, September 29 – October 2 and at Black Hat Trainings @ SecTor October 17-20.

  • Matt Blaze kicked off Day 1 of Briefings with his Keynote "Stress-Testing Democracy: Election Integrity During a Global Pandemic."

  • Renée DiResta  kicked off Day 2 of Briefings with her Keynote "Hacking Public Opinion"

  • Briefings took place across 19 Tracks, covering a wide array of relevant InfoSec topics from election security and healthcare security to the latest exploit techniques.
  • Arsenal welcomed more than 50 open-source tools for virtual demonstrations. Presenters presented tools across 16 different tracks, including Open Source Intelligence, Network Defense, Hardware and Exploitation and Ethical Hacking. View Arsenal Tools Lineup
