Black Hat Student Scholarship Program

The 2020 application process is now closed.

As a way to introduce the next generation of security professionals to the Black Hat community, we will be awarding complimentary Black Hat Europe 2020 Academic Passes to a limited number of student applicants. Each Academic Pass allows full access to all virtual Briefings and Business Hall on Wednesday, December 9 and Thursday, December 10.

In order to be considered for the Black Hat Europe Student Scholarship, each applicant must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be at least 18 years old at the time of the event.
  • Must be able to provide copy of verifiable proof of full-time academic status at an accredited college or university.
  • Must be able to provide copy of valid and current college/university ID card.

Please Note:

  • Failure to follow instructions will result in disqualification.
  • Students do not need to provide proof of enrollment or additional identification at this time.
  • Only students whose applications are chosen for a potential scholarship award will be required to submit further documentation.

Women IN Security Scholarship

The IN Security Movement is pleased to announce its partnership with Black Hat, the world's leading producer of information security events. Black Hat events are renowned for developing the next generation of security professionals and emphasizing gender diversity. As such, the IN Security Movement is partnering with Black Hat and providing complimentary virtual Black Hat Europe 2020 Briefings passes to women in the industry.
