We are pleased to announce that Black Hat Asia 2020 will now take place September 29 - October 2 at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. We look forward to hosting the latest information security research at these new dates and will provide further updates on the event soon.
Update as of February 14, 2020
After careful consideration of the health and safety of our attendees and partners, we have made the difficult decision to postpone Black Hat Asia 2020 due to the coronavirus outbreak. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and will follow up directly with all of those who are scheduled to attend and exhibit to determine appropriate next steps.
Please know we are planning to host Black Hat Asia 2020 in the fall this year. We hope you are able to join us and will provide an update with the new event dates as soon as possible.

Update as of February 7, 2020
Today, the Singapore Ministry of Health raised the risk assessment of the coronavirus outbreak to DORSCON Orange. We are following all precautionary measures introduced by this new level. Please continue to monitor this page for updates.
Update as of February 5, 2020
Black Hat Asia 2020 is planned to take place as scheduled in Singapore. We are actively monitoring the coronavirus outbreak and are complying with the guidelines set by the Singapore government and the World Health Organization (WHO). As a result, we are implementing precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of our attendees. Please check back, as we will provide more details on these measures in the coming days.
Additionally, the Marina Bay Sands has progressively implemented several precautionary measures, including:
- Intensifying the cleaning and disinfection of public areas and common touch points at Sands Expo and Convention Centre every hour
- Providing hand sanitizers for delegates
- Displaying public advisories at key locations on the property to identify visitors from Hubei Province and those who may be feeling unwell
- Deploying temperature screening measures on the property
