Europe 2017: Know Before You Go (All Pass Types)

Collect Your Event Badge
Check in on Level 1 of the ExCeL London at Royal Victoria Dock, 1 Western Gateway, London E16 1XL Use the East Entrance or Prince Regent DLR Entrance.

Collect your badge during the following dates and times:
Monday, December 4 07:30 - 14:00
Tuesday, December 08:30 - 16:00
Wednesday, December 6 07:30 - 18:30
Thursday, December 7 08:30 - 16:00

Important Note: Please care for your badge. A non-refundable replacement fee will apply to all lost, misplaced, stolen, forgotten and duplicate badge or badge holder requests. If your badge was complimentary, the fee will be the current, on-site rate. Both the badge and badge holder are required for entry at Black Hat and both will incur a replacement fee if a duplicate of either is requested.

Trainings Information

Class Requirements: Please be sure to check the "Student Requirements" and "What Students Should Bring" sections for your specific Training. Find your Training here: www.blackhat.com/eu-17/training/schedule

Laptops and Power Supply: Please bring your own laptop and power supply cord with you to class! Black Hat does not have extra laptops or to lend out. Please note: Black Hat does not supply power adapters for international power supply cords. Please plan accordingly.

Lunch: Continental breakfast and lunch will be served during during Trainings on Monday, December 4 and Tuesday, December 5 in the Refreshment and Lunch Areas in the ICC Capital Suite. You DO NOT need lunch tickets during Training; however, you MUST have your Black Hat badge in order to enter the lunchroom.

Training Certificates of Completion: If you do not receive a Training certificate or there is an issue, please complete a Certificate Request Form (available from your instructor) and turn it into Black Hat Registration on Level 1 of the ExCeL London. Please note: If you do not receive a Training Certificate of Completion, you must request your certificate no later than 48 hours after the end of the conference or you will not receive one. Black Hat will send you the certificate via email, not US First Class Mail or Federal Express. Black Hat does not replace lost, stolen, or misplaced Certificates of Completion.

Keynote: Please join us for Chris Painter's Keynote presentation "Diplomacy and Combating Evolving International Cyber Threats" at 09:00 on Wednesday, December 6 in ICC Capital Suite, Level 3, Room B and Joanna Rutkowska'sKeynote presentation "Security Through Distrusting" at 9:00 on Thursday, December 7 in ICC Capital Suite, Level 3, Room B.

Lunch: Your Briefings pass grants you access to lunch on both Wednesday, December 6 and Thursday, December 7 in the Business Hall, Capital Hall on Level 0. Lunch will be from 12:45-14:15 on Wednesday and 12:30-14:00 on Thursday. You must have your Briefing badge to receive lunch.

Briefings Evaluations: Help us make future programs even more compelling and relevant by completing a briefings evaluation for each Briefings session you attend. Evaluations will be sent to you at the end of each conference day.

Briefings Slides and White Papers:  Briefings presentation materials provided by speakers will be made available at the end of each day on the Black Hat website. Presentations can be downloaded here:www.blackhat.com/eu-17/briefings.html

Briefings Audio and Video: Afraid you'll miss a session? The Source of Knowledge will be on-site to sell audio and video recordings of the Briefings sessions. These recordings may be purchased on-site at a substantial discount. The Source of Knowledge will be located in ICC Capital Suite, Level 3

Business Hall Activities

Business Hall Hours:
Wednesday, December 6: 10:00 – 18:30 (Reception: 17:00-18:30)

Reception: Join us for the Business Hall Welcome Reception hosted by our Diamond Sponsors, Cylance, Nyotron, SecureLink and Spirent Communications on Wednesday evening, from 17:00-18:30. Come enjoy food and beverage while you network with your peers, learn about the latest security solutions, and make new business contacts.

Arsenal: Black Hat Arsenal will feature over 40 open-source tool demonstrations over the course of two days. Researchers will showcase their work while answering questions in a dynamic setting.

Merchandise Store: Get your Black Hat branded merchandise, t-shirts, hoodies, gifts, and more. Located in the Business Hall, the merchandise store will be open Wednesday, December 6: 10:00 – 18:30 and Thursday, December 7: 09:00 – 16:00

Accenture Networking Lounge: Unwind, recharge and network in the Accenture Networking Lounge. Enjoy refreshments and conduct business in a relaxed environment on Wednesday, December 6 from 10:30-18:30 and Thursday, December 7 from 10:00-16:00.

Travel
Transportation: There are many ways to get to the ExCeL London, including both the London underground and overground. Use the East Entrance or Prince Regent DLR entrance Foyer Area, where the Registration Desk will be located. Please use the Interactive Map to plan your trip to Black Hat Europe.

Food & Drink: Whether you need a quick bite, or you're looking for to take a client out for dinner, there are many options to choose from close to the conference center. Browse the variety of bars, pubs, restaurants, and cafés in the area here.

Safety
The safety and security of attendees is Black Hat's priority. We work closely with the venue and our contractors to identify risks, assess them and develop security plans for our events in accordance with this priority. Everyone attending Black Hat should be aware that the following are in place:

  • Bag checks upon entry into Briefings rooms
  • Random body searches
  • Canine security and detection
  • Uniformed and covert security guards
  • CCTV is in operation throughout the venue and is monitored and recorded 24 hours a day
  • Attendees are required to wear conference badges at all times
